here are many types of health tourism, such as, medical tourism, thermal tourism, spa and wellness, elderly tourism, disabled tourism, sportsman tourism etc. Each country, even each
province should bring one or several of these health tourism types into prominence in accordance with its current conditions and each region should become a brand in a certain area of health tourism.
The important thing is which type of health tourism matches that
country or the province and the tendency of that country or province
to become a brand with it. For example, Afyon, Yalova, Bursa can become a brand in thermal tourism, Antalya in elderly tourism and Izmir and the relevant region in Spa and Wellness. As for Istanbul,
it is a potential city in medical tourism.
Without doubt, Istanbul can become a brand in medical tourism. Cont'd

PART 1

ARTİCLE 1:

Name of association: ASSOCIATION OF IMPROVING HEALTH TOURISM HEADQUATERS OF ASSOCIATION:

ARTICLE 2:

The headquaters is in Ankara and branches of the association can be opened both at home and abroad.

PART 2 GOALS OF THE ASSOCIATION, ACTIVITIES AND WORKING PRINCIPLES TO FUFILL THESE GOALS.

AIMS AND ACTIVITIES OF THE ASSOCIATION

ARTICLE 3:

First and foremost to research and improve alternative tourism like health and spa tourism and also to give them enough coverage both at home and abroad.

A) HEALTH AND SPA TOURİSM:

Collabrating with the health institutions in our country to bring patients from abroad for medical treatment.Sending tourist from both home and abroad to spa resorts and doing the neccesary related organizations.Bringing patients from both home and abroad to spa and curative centres for treatment and doing the neccessary advertisement.

Preparing projects and evaluating reports on legal procedures in bringing patients from abroad to spa resorts and health institutions for medical treatment.

B)PROBLEMS AND CARE OF THE AGED AND HANDICAPS BOTH AT HOME AND ABROAD:

To bring old people and handicaps from abroad and give them home-care services.To build rest homes and holiday resorts/villages on our coasts,spa areas,etc and also to enter into partnership with the already existing ones.Presenting projects and evaluating reports on legal procedures in bringing old people from abroad for home-care services.

Forming and improving alternative models of home-care for the old people and the handıcaps in our country.Establishing contacts with the related insurance companies and instituions,especially on home-care for the aged and introducing our contry as having the potential on these subjects.At the same time,preparing the neccessary basic infrastructure for the old people and the handicaps in our country and offering a form of social and economic support.

C)RESEARCH AND EDUCATION ON THE AREAS OF HEALTH TOURİSM:

For research and administrative improvement on this field,projects preparations,educational institutions,hotels,motels,holiday villages,spa resorts,curative centers,rest houses etc that will offer services will be opened.Well qualified personels will be trained to offer services in this >>>>>pdf
